I know, things have happened here at dA, but do not expect me to join some movement because everybody else does. On either side.
"Oh, but Stefan, why don't you read all the shit that's been posted here, put on a website there, basically plastered all over deviantART?"
I did.
Jark's sacking smells fishy, granted, but hey, what do I know?
What do you know?
It's almost as if you're an asshole because you don't pick a side. "Lacking community spirit". Stuff like that.
Fine, whatever. I already lack community spirit. Of all the people you'll ever meet, I'm about the worst at being a nazi.
Bite me.

What does my head in is that you see people overreacting.
For instance, a message board I visit regularly has quite a lot of dA members. So someone's journal got posted there by someone else, stating in short that the way to make jark happy, is to stop submitting works, stop commenting, stop fav-ing except for the "yellow pieces", stop public communication and generally stop viewing art. My interpretation of that is this: you're ruining the community. And that should make jark happy?
Secondly, this was posted at a message board that has nothing to do with dA whatsoever, except for the dA membership of some people. Why bring it there? dA regulars already noticed that this stuff was going on and probably already made up their minds about the whole thing without the journal being posted. Is it to make the dA newbies join the "yellow movement"? Great, you have some people who know next to nothing about it joining your movement, hiding their galleries and making yellow pieces.
This whole thing makes me so cynical.
I can't stand it when so many people don't even attempt to resist peer pressure.
Sorry for ranting

I only wish there were more!!
My wife (Distendasi) and I tell anyone parading a yellow flag to take a serious look at what the fuck they're "fighting" for in this "movement". It's excruciatingly annoying at first, and then becomes just fascinatingly sad. Kids(and immature minds) are so desperate for something to stand for, whether they have any idea what it is or not.

I know I'm an asshole. | I figured my name implied that.
