Meet Jacques l'Escargot.
Jacques was minding his business on a wall in my back yard. I saw him there, and asked him if he was interested in doing some modeling. "Oh, you're flattering me!" he responded with enthusiasm. I told him that I didn't really know what to give him in return for his modeling. Money would be a problem: snails usually don't carry a wallet, and on top of that, they don't have hands to use one, or the money in it. "Nah, that's okay. All the attention is rewarding enough. But can you promise me to put me back in the back yard once we're done with those pictures?" "I promise" I said. Comments
